Undoubtedly, the combination of a famous sire and successful dam-line makes Conlanc a special type of stallion. His father, Contender, is a legend in his own right and has produced multiple top horses who have been successful at the highest level, with names like Montender (under Marco Kutscher), Checkmate (under Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum) and Carlo (under Sergio Alvarez Moya) to name a few.
Conlanc is out of an outstanding Holsteiner damline who produced very influential stallions. His third dam, Golda, is the second dam of the great Coriano, who jumped at the top level with Judy-Ann Melchior and who is himself the sire of many Grand Prix winners. This dam-line also produced more top stallions such as Corofino I and II (by Corrado I) and the very popular Diarado (by Diamant de Semilly), who is really on his way to the top in breeding.
PROGENY
Conlanc's progeny have proven to be extremely successful and tend to take on Conlanc's level mind and easy rideability.
